The most effective cure to bad breath is the tongue scrapper, an inexpensive device that removes foul smelling bacteria. Clean as far as possible without gagging, bacteria tends to remains at the rear area. You can also make use of a soft-bristled toothbrush to brush your tongue. I would not put too much importance in conventional mouthwashes to cure bad breath. While they may help temporarily, they don’t remove bacteria and food debris from the crevices of the tongue as well like a tongue scrapper does. Of course, you cannot neglect the basic important thing: brushing and flossing regularly.

Switch your toothbrush to the one that contains either chlorine dioxide or tree tea oil, a natural disinfectant that has a pleasant eucalyptus type smell. Both are available in most health food shops.

To eliminate bad breath that stems from eating onions and garlic, try chewing a bit of parsley and some fennel seeds. They won’t totally get rid of this odor but can alleviate it till your body eliminates the food. If none of these remedies to cure bad breath helps, then consider visiting your doctor to rule out lesser but serious causes. Some of the causes of bad breath include persistent dry mouth, sinus problems, gum disease, acid reflux, kidney or liver failure, uncontrolled diabetes and some types of cancers.

  1. Bad Breath & Halitosis Cures

I suffered with bad breath for about 5 years. I spent a small fortune on bad breath cures. Nothing I tried seem to work even as it said it would. I read on a halitosis websites a review of bad breath cures and the top of the list was Oraltech Labs. I ordered their book. It worked. It doesn’t sell you any products at all, in fact it tells you to stop buying pastes, gels, washes and pills. So if you’re going through what I have, think about this and save yourself the pain and humiliation. Just Google Oraltech Labs. GL, Jenny Wilson. NB
